
Our soft style Tai Chi form is called Suang Yang Bai Her Rou Ruan Chuan,
which translates as Frost and Sun White Crane Gentle Art. It is a 66 move pure
White Crane Tai Chi form originating from Southern China.
The benefits of regular Tai Chi practice are immense. It helps gently stretch and
strengthen the whole body, increases fitness levels and improves Chi flow
making the practitioner more resilient to illness and injuries.
As a result of its gentle flowing movements it aids relaxation and has a
meditative effect on the mind and body.

Most importantly, if practiced correctly and regularly, Tai Chi is an incredibly
effective form of self defence. All the movements have martial applications
and because the principle behind Tai Chi is to use your
opponents weight and momentum against them, it can be used to
defeat much larger and stronger attackers.
The classes are suitable for all ages and levels.
They consist of a Chi Kung warm up and gentle stretching, learning the form,
working on partnered exercises such as pushing/ sticking hands
and martial application work and finish with a relaxing meditation.
