Our 4-week tai chi course for beginners will seek to provide you with a solid introduction to the art of tai chi.

You will learn warm up routines, breathing exercises, and gentle stretches in each lesson, before we focus on the short tai chi sequence.

Throughout the course you will learn the first 4 moves of a longer White Crane tai chi sequence (which you can continue learning if you come to classes upon completion of the course). These moves combine to make a very nice short and easy to remember tai chi routine that you can practice almost anywhere, with no equipment, at any time of the day.

The benefits of regular tai chi practice are well documented nowadays but a few major ones would include: improved posture, balance, coordination, strength, energy levels, fitness, flexibility, mobility, brain function. It can reduce stress and anxiety, help with depression and other mental health issues.
