Who is this programme for?
This is a 6 week training programme, specifically designed for those who have not exercised for a while and would like a gentle re-introduction to fitness.
The training is perfect if you would like to make changes to a sedentary lifestyle, are recovering from injury or an illness, perhaps you used to do quite a physical job or sport that you are not able to do anymore and you’d like to stay active still.
Has a doctor or medical professional recommended that you start a new exercise programme, or do you simply need some new ideas and motivation to get you under way?
Benefits of the programme
Becoming physically fitter can be a massive boost to your self-confidence but places like gyms and fitness centres can be intimidating places if you don’t feel like you know what you are doing, or if there are too many other people, or things going on.
You can receive help with overall fitness levels (cardio), strengthening up the body, keeping the joints mobile and increasing flexibility, improving balance and co-ordination…and much more, depending on what it is you need!
Mark has trained clients in classes and one-to-one sessions for over 10 years and designed this 6 week programme after helping many people get fit again after injuries (including his own!), or when conditions – such as diabetes and Parkinson’s – became something that they needed to live with and control.
Information and costs
During this programme, you will meet twice per week for an hour each time. The sessions can take place at your own home, or a venue in Haywards Heath (usually St Richard’s Church Hall, which has a lot of space and is conveniently located).
After an initial observation, the programme is completely tailored to the requirements of each individual and draw on Mark’s considerable experience in both Eastern and Western exercise systems, as well as shiatsu, anatomy, and bodyweight training.
