Description
Join us for a special 2-hour workshop exploring the Shuang Yang two-person White Crane Tai Chi form.
This workshop will focus on the martial applications hidden within the movements and begin teaching the form as a complete two-person sequence, helping students develop a deeper understanding of timing, distance, structure, sensitivity and intent.
Working with a partner allows you to experience the practical meaning behind the movements in a way that solo practice cannot provide, bringing the form to life and revealing new layers of understanding.
The workshop is suitable for students who already know the Shuang Yang form up to at least the first diagonal section, as this knowledge will be assumed throughout the session.
What we’ll cover:
– Partner practice and applications
– Understanding attack and defence within the form
– Sensitivity and listening skills
– Learning the form as a coordinated two-person sequence
Prerequisites:
Students should know the Shuang Yang form up to at least the first diagonal before attending.
