New kids class, May weapons workshop…

I hope that you’ve all had a great Easter break.
If you’re anything like me, you’re definitely ready to get started again after a short break, and looking forward to what we’ve got coming up at WCA!

Children’s Kung Fu
Our children’s kung fu term starts again tomorrow, the first of two weekly classes on a Monday and Thursday afternoon 5-6pm.
I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you all of the benefits that learning kung fu can give children. The classes aim to teach kung fu of course, as well as instil a dedication to positive lifelong healthy habits, discipline, self confidence, and much more… it’s more than learning to punch and kick!
You can sign up your child, grandchild, friend’s child, neighbour’s child… or any old child that you think might benefit… here.

May Weapons Workshop
We’ve had a break for the whole of April, so it will be good to get back to our regular weapons workshop between May and when we next have a month off in August.
Weapons training is one of the best ways to improve your martial arts level, learn something interesting and fun, and look pretty cool (with practice!) whilst doing so.
Please remember: you need to be training regularly in the weekly classes to participate in the weapons classes as they build upon your basic skills.
May’s weapons class takes place in just a couple of weeks on Saturday 7th May at King Edward Hall in Lindfield. Book your place here.
Places are limited, so early booking recommended.
Don’t be shy if you’ve missed weapons for a while, I know a few of you have had quite a break… I’ll be nice and give you plenty of reminders, honest.

Weekly Timetable
All classes are back on as normal from tomorrow… come along and work off those Easter eggs!
Now’s the time to get fit for summer – 2022 or 2023 – I’m not specifying which, depends how many eggs you ate 🙂

See you in class!
