Description
Tai Chi • Qigong • Kung Fu • Weapons
Progress in the martial arts comes from consistent practice, quality instruction and attention to detail.
Our Monthly Progress Workshop gives you the opportunity to spend longer on your training than weekly classes allow.
These sessions provide extra time to refine movements, ask questions, receive individual corrections and build confidence in your practice.
Suitable for students of Tai Chi, Qigong, Kung Fu and weapons, the workshop can be tailored to your current level and goals.
Students who attend regularly often find they:
• Remember forms more easily
• Gain confidence in their movements
• Progress more steadily between gradings
• Improve balance, coordination and relaxation
• Develop a deeper understanding of their training
• Benefit from individual feedback and corrections
• Enjoy training with people from other WCA classes
Whether you are working on your first form or have been training for years, extra practice can make a surprising difference over time.
What can I work on?
You can focus on:
• Tai Chi forms
• Qigong exercises and routines
• Kung Fu forms
• Weapons training
• Grading preparation
• Technical corrections
• Questions and problem areas
Students may spend the entire session on one area or divide their time between several aspects of their training.
Weapons Training
Students wishing to work on weapons are welcome to do so during the workshop.
Weapons training develops coordination, balance, timing, flexibility, strength and spatial awareness. Students can work on weapons appropriate to their level, including cane, fan, sword, broadsword, staff, spear and others taught within the White Crane Academy curriculum.
Who Can Attend?
The workshop is open to all current White Crane Academy and Tai Chi App students.
Places are limited to 12 students to ensure everyone receives individual attention and guidance.
